Sanctum Housing have secured properties across the UK specifically to provide our residents with a stable and permanent home.
What is supported housing?
Supported housing and accommodation is where the resident is provided with a home, support and other tailored services as holistic care package. For ourselves at Sanctum this is a can be either a short-term or long-term arrangement that will help our residents live independently as they develop the practical skills they need. Whether that be managing benefits or debt, honing daily living skills, gaining employment or accessing education, we are committed to giving our resident’s the best opportunities.
Moving can be stressful and as part of creating a home, we understand that this process needs to be as simple as possible. As such, all of our properties are fully furnished and equipped with the necessities that our residents require. Our support workers liaise with all new residents to ensure they understand their responsibilities and explain how to report any maintenance issues they encounter during their tenancy.
We are in the fortunate position to offer our residents a wrap-around support program, we aim to equip them with the necessary skills to thrive.
The concept of ‘home’
This is important to us and we understand that in order to facilitate our resident’s growth and development, the right environment is crucial. We therefore pledge to ensure our properties are never overcrowded, not only to minimise any complications between residents, but to help foster the feeling of home. In order to bring about lasting changes it is essential that safe, comforting spaces are provided, to some of the most vulnerable in our society.
